I could take just one year of signing bonus $$ and retire happily. He would never miss it by time his career is over plus add on what he will make off endorsements and social media this year, wow!
"Yates reports that Lawrence will eventually sign a four-year deal (with a fifth year option) that will be worth nearly $36.8 million with a signing bonus of $24.1 million. According to Jags wire, Lawrence's signing bonus will be prorated over four years in increments of $6,029,744.”

But "jock taxes" means he'll have to file in multiple states anyway, having been assumed to have earned 1/16th of his salary for each game, and for each game in a state, he'll have to pay state income taxes there. It helps for home games, though!

Dang, TL and his new bride will struggle on that salary. They will just have to pinch pennies for a while, I guess!!!

I expect that this couple will settle on a budget and put a good deal of this away for the future. They will both settle in and set up a way of life that they will lead for at least 3 to 4 years. I expect that TL16 will be doing fishing in his spare time. Talk about advertising money. TL16 could be doing fishing for TV a longtime after football and get payed to do this like Ted Williams did.
