Spoke too soon. We can't make birdies. Second worse round of the day. Arky 4 birdies on 12, we have 2. The 16th, arky and etsu birdies, we bogey and pars. Yeah, long way to go but we better turn it around. Eerily similar to our ladies.

Not starting that way but you're right, we've got to crush it on the front. Worse round of the day by far of any team so the course is there for the taking... We're just not taking it. At least the women had an excuse of youth. This is the senior most team Clemson has had but for whatever reason, just hasn't jelled this year. Turk was a huge loss.
Come on TIGERS. Show that grit. I always look forward to June because baseball and golf. Not looking like either this year.

I’m afraid next year will be worse, at least for the golf team. Our 40 year run in the NCAAs will probably come to an end.

I agree Marshall. Unless the transfer and 2 frosh are lights out, no one else shown they're ready. Really dissapointing and sad because I thought this team was going to make a serious run. But you could see after a dismal fall and up and down spring it was dicey.
Kuddos to Jacob and all that he's done. His other team members better hang on to their degrees... And use them.

After the Win in Pinehurst really thought this team was heading in the right direction and getting Jacob Bridgeman back after his qualifying for the Canadian PGA Tour would be a huge,it was but only for Jacob as he was the only one playing some really good Golf and he did it for a month and half.The rest of the team just did not play good,too many over par scores and hardly none under par.

I think it may come down to us or ETSU, Kentucky, and Us for the 5th slot. ETSU is in our group and currently 1 stroke ahead of us. We need to pass them. I'm assuming Northwestern will fall down some on the difficult holes they have coming up.
Tough for me as I'm a grad of both Clemson Undergrad and ETSU Med School - but no question that I'm pulling for Clemson, so ETSU may have to miss out.

Laughing out loud at people on here that can’t hit it out of their shadow saying they choked. Playing golf at that level the margins are razor thin. The rub of the green can be a two shot swing.
