Mother and Father are both coot alumni (....I know)
All my Mom's brothers and sisters are Clemson alumni. So when their coot sister (my mom) had her firstborn child (JimmyGreenbeans), they thought it would be hilarious to make sure I was Orange blooded from the time I could walk and talk. I am eternally grateful to my aunts and uncles for this.

My sister is married to a coot. It's so funny how quiet he is at Holliday gatherings about anything football now. He even tried a couple weeks ago to talk to me about how unbelievable the state of South Carolina athetics are because of CU Football, CCU baseball & SCar wbb. I couldn't stop laughing at him.

My mothers side from Charlestown are mostly Coots.
My rich Uncle is a BIG TIME Coot season tickets for everything and a big time booster.
But they are pretty good people for the most part.

I've been married to one for 30 years. Here's the rest of the story. From 6th grade until my junior year in high school I was a Coot fan. My older sister was a Coot graduate and had me hooked. My junior year in high school my best friend took me to a Clemson football game. When I got home I gave away all my Coot stuff to my girl friend (future wife) and decided Clemson was the only place I wanted to go. My freshman year was 1981! My son is now a proud Alumni and my daughter is a senior. My wife is a Coot Alumni but is now 99% orange blooded. She even picked orange paint for our dining room. Thank God for my best friend showing me the light!

rising senior at Coot U. Her sister graduated from Coot U. My mom and sister are fans of coot U but didn't go to University. Aunt and uncle, who are sports fans, are coot U. I have been called a trader, a turncoat, etc for being all Tiger from about age 10 and attending Clemson. People I love went to coot U, but I still hate the coots...haha.
