Well that was the most I ever paid to watch a single sporting event. But the environment and experience of that last 6-7 minutes will stay with me for a long time.
850 is a lot of money for me. I'm glad I bought my ticket early before the prices went up to over 2k in the upper deck. But the experience and the atmosphere will stay with me for a lifetime!
Amen to that...after my group's flights being cancelled out of RDU, having to leave wives behind, my business partner and I made the 11 hour road trip south without tickets in hand. We, too, paid more for these tickets than any event in the past. Heck, I've taken family vacations for less than what we paid for club seats. But, I can say without reservation or hesitation, the best money I've EVER SPENT. The thrill of victory, being on the field after the catch and everything that went into it (including the 11 hour drive back yesterday), will be a memory that lives on forever.
And when I saw my 4 year old for the first time this morning, he says "Daddy, I don't like my middle name being Anthony, I want my middle name to be Dabo Swinney."
Tiger Nation was in FULL FORCE in Tampa and around the world (based on posts I saw) and great things are still ahead. Let's enjoy this great time in Clemson history.
