I have the football schedule
Feb 19, 2013, 5:39 PM
|
|
Aug. 31 Georgia Sept. 7 SC State Sept. 14 at Syracuse Sept. 21 Open Sept. 28 Florida State Oct. 5 at Virginia Oct. 12 Wake Forest Oct. 19 at Maryland Oct. 26 Boston College Nov. 2 Open Nov. 7 Georgia Tech (Thursday Night) Nov. 16 at NC State Nov. 23 Citadel Nov. 30 at South Carolina
This is per TCI. I don't like the Thurs. night game, but 12 day to prepare for Tech is good. Virginia is the biggest trap game.

if this is correct, we couldn't ask for a better setup...

the opener with Georgia is obviously tough, but then a cupcake before heading to Syracuse is nice. Syracuse will be a tough out in the Dome.
And then the icing on the cake is the open date before FSU and Georgia Tech. Not to mention we get extra time to prepare for NC State since the Ga Tech game is on a Thursday!
This schedule couldn't setup better for us to run the table in the conference.

Wow from September 28th to November 30th there is not much going on. Kind of a boring schedule. Hopefully at least one of those teams turns out to be better than expected.

Once every 10 years.
Considering it is over 7 months away should not be a problem to ask for half day off of work on Thursday.

Don't worry, Georgia Tech's offense will help put you to sleep early!

Cuse loses their long time starting QB and is breaking in a new coach, plus our offense on turf is awesome. That game shouldn't be close.

I took at it as a joke, meaning their offense was so boring. Don't think he meant put the team to sleep, as in beat them.

There are a couple problems with that schedule's believability.
1. Clemson has a known aversion to Thursday home games. Unless they're willing to reschedule their Fall Break, which is currently set for Oct 14-15, chances of us hosting a Thursday night game (a logistical nightmare) are extremely slim.
2. This schedule sets up PERFECTLY for Clemson--I mean it literally could not be any better in terms of home-away mix, open dates before major games, and a good sequence of of strong-weak opponents. That alone leads me to believe it's a fake schedule as the ACC is *never* this nice to Clemson's schedule.

AmgMy mother is the sales manager of a local hotel that ESPN uses, she somehow got the schedule and it's the same one as OP, also, ESPN has sent her signed contracts for gameday to be here for uga game. On a side note, ESPN also invited her up to their headquarters for a tour in March
