Longtime assistant Mike Winiecki won't be retained. No one has been hired and Brad says he wants to take his time to think about it. Shelton Mitchell will have arthroscopic knee surgery next Tuesday. Point guard Ty Hudson plans to transfer

Isnt one of the older assistant coaches Brads friend and an ex head coach? Was it true that Wicknecki coordinated the recruiting at Clemson? The problem Brownell will have finding a top notch recruiter and assistant coach is the knowledge that he is on the hot seat. David any other changes that Brownell hinted at that he would be making?

Wienecki and Brad had been together forever, and are close. But the guy can't recruit. I can't name one player who mattered who he was instrumental in signing. Steve Smith is the main recruiter, and I'd expect the new hire to be a younger guy who has the chance to be a top notch recruiter.

Still holding out hope for Greg Buckner
