Thoughts on Cade Klubnik interview

First apologies if this was already posted and discussed…
When I hear Cade have this unquestionable belief in Dabo, while so many outsiders currently don’t believe in Dabo, it takes me back in time to Tajh Boyd when he came here. Back then we had a lot more problems with the program than we do today but Boyd had unshakable belief in Dabo. I recently heard Boyd say that looking back maybe they were naive but they bought in to everything coach told them back then because when he told them what was going to happen that he was so convincing that they not only believed but they were hung Ho and ready to run through a wall and immediately attack.
I’ve only seen highlights of Cade but he seems to be talented and seems to have good leadership traits.
I also liked that he’s recruiting Etienne but find it interesting that he didn’t have a feel for how that would go. Seems like the same sentiment that we’ve had here at tnet.

He’s leadership qualities ive seen from him are more impressive then his talent imo, seems like that’s what we were missing this year.

Over the last 2 seasons, competing at the highest classification in Texas, he threw for over 6k yards and ran for over 1k (at over 6 ypc), accounted for over 100 TDs, and only threw 6 INTs… all while winning b2b state titles and taking down most of the premier powers in the state (Katy, Southlake, North Shore, Guyer). And he won the Elite 11 Finals MVP, flashing otherworldly accuracy.
He’s the most talented QB in this class, so if his leadership truly trumps his talent, wow.

I know he’s talented, but that kind of fiery leadership that DW4 and TLAW can’t be taught he has it

It’s called Covid fog. Mine lasted about 2 months. It sucked. I still every now and then, get a little memory loss.
