Metal detector? Missing class ring.

I live in Greenville and I've lost my 06 Clemson class ring in a local park (had the kids out on a soccer field playing for a while). Does anybody in the area have access to a metal detector I can borrow/rent?

I'm going to check the office/car/house again to be sure it's not there. But I'm pretty sure it was in my pocket when I got the park, and wasn't there an hour later after running around.

Sorry to hear that. I lost mine a while back. I rented a metal detector and found it, but these may be cheaper than renting(sorry, I don't have one and am not in the Greenville area now...). Don't forget the 20% coupon:

It was indeed in the field. We found it in about 20 minutes of searching with a detector. Yay!

Got paranoid that mine came off in some bloody exam gloves today, so I had my staff searching through biohazard trash to no avail. Realized when I got home I never even put it on my finger today - felt naked without it. Cheers to you for tracking yours down!

If you had it in your pocket when you were in the car tear the car to bits and make sure it isn't there. Relax and trace your steps.

I would recommend buying your own one.
It began with me the same way. I lose expensive chain in the park, borrowed detector and while looking for a chain I found a watch, two rings and detector showed a lot of activity generally. Surely I didn't dig ground in the public place but the next day I settled in and went to the countryside. Where I found a lot of extremely interesting stuff. And the few days letter I bought my own garret ace 400. For 10 joyful field trips it paid for himself, my flat is always full of interesting things and I never bought anything as a present, only findings do the thing:D
