has there ever been any other such occurrence of a prop gun killing someone? Think of all the gunshots in movie history. I don't think it's on Baldwin, but something is afoot here

And yes, this has happened before to Brandon Lee.

I also remember a TV actor jokingly putting a prop gun to his head and pulling the trigger. The concussion blew his head open even though it was a blank.

Yes. Brandon Lee, Bruce Lee's son died that way on a set. He was filming The Crow and I believe it was being filmed in NC.

Jon-Erik Hexum from Voyagers shot himself in the head with a prop gun and it killed him. Also Bruce Lee's son died during filming of The Crow with a prop gun.
I feel sorry for everybody involved.

So two people were shot - how do you "accidentally" discharge a firearm TWICE? Once, I can see, especially for someone not familiar with real firearms, but twice? He may have accidentally shot them, but doesn't sound like he accidentally discharged the weapon. They had to be in relatively close proximity to him at the time as well for a prop gun to cause serious injury. Sounds like he was goofing off and didn't realize that even prop guns are still guns. What a sad story for all involved.

The victims, it’s horrible for . And their families have to be asking a lot of questions about how I’m sure.
As for the pos liberal Alec, the whole thing would have been better if his character would have been shooting a head shot suicide scene.

The media keep saying 'prop' gun. No such thing. Either the gun was an imitation and cannot fire (it is for appearances only) or it is a real gun and can shoot blanks or real bullets (in which case the prop master would keep it under lock and key until it is to be used while the film is rolling). This sounds more like he was goofing off or something. Tragic for the lady and the other person who was hurt, but I feel no sympathy for someone who was misusing a firearm.
