you do need to get a grip.
Do Boston College fans get their feelings hurt because we don't say Boston like they do?
Same goes for Rutgers and many other teams from the north. This may be a shocker to you but people have regional dialects.

If I can learn to say "Colorado" the way most of the people pronounce it, then they should be able to say Clemson correctly. It's not that hard.

a history major. On the other hand Clemson is. I worked with a guy named Jim Clemson in Roanoke, VA in the early 1990's after I graduated. He pronounced is CLEMpSON and someone's name is pronounced how they want it to be, isn't that right Brett Favre?
