This year’s recruiting class

Explain to me how this class will keep Clemson in contention as a top 5 program. Cade is going to be great, no argument. What many of you don’t understand is that Cade needs 10 other people on the field with him
We have lost recruits to other schools head to head and then 4 top recruits to Venables leaving. Not to mention 7 players to the portal.
Like it or not this class will have many commits that were never on our primary recruiting board.
Those we would have never previously considered.
Explain how this class will keep Clemson in playoff contention 2 years from now

I’m not worried about Clemson football. Maybe college football , in general. However, I would think you would be concerned about your worthless “#####.” Enjoy your WBB success and stay off Clemson message boards!

Because it's small with quality and we will have a great one next year. It's just 1 year. Our last 2 classes were great and our next one will be great. Nobody does well without a great QB...we got that and more.

There are good players still out there. Teams like Cincinnati recruit 3 and 4 stars exclusively and find great players. Clemson just had to dig deeper then they’ve had to in the past since we didn’t get some of our top targets. But if you trust our ability to identify talent (Isiah Simmons, Grady Jarrett, etc) the. You have to think the Tigers pickup some good players that will help and come in with chips on their shoulder vs 5 star attitudes.

TBH Dabo is gonna have to start casting a larger net!! His philosophy of creating value by offering the few has lost it’s place in NIL land!! I honestly feel like Clemson staff got caught with their pants down this year, not expecting the severity of pay to play’s effect on Lil ole Clemson. High character kids like money too!! We need to catch up fast! The coots even appear light years ahead in this NIL market for gosh sakes. I’m certain Dabo hates the portal and the recruiting bid wars than NIL will bring about. He best learn to love both, and fast!

Two years later we were winning a national championship. I realize that you will have some difficulty understanding this since your team has never won one.  ">">

Clemson will be fine. No doubt this class and the transfers are a concern.
When you recruit great players year after year you can get away with a small class. This class has talent just not numbers.
