You think Ohio St.-Baylor in Cotton and Clemson-Bama in Orange?

I would rather play Bama. We owe them a beat down of epic proportions. I think we would match up better with them.

Maybe.

If that's the four remaining teams Bama will not be sent to Texas to play a Texas team. The seeding is governed by geography according to last year's POC statements.

After saying that they sent an undefeated FSU to the other end of the continent, 2289, and brought a one loss OSU team to Miami to play a one loss Bama team less than 800 miles from home. Do the math.

I don't think I'm too wild about facing Baylor in a playoff. Given our poor pass coverage in certain positions (e.g. LB), we would probably give up 35+ points to them. They could burn us on various trick plays. Not sure how well they rush the ball, though.

However, we could also put quite a bit of points on them as well given they are in the Big 12. Our offense put up over 30 points against another Big 12 defense (in Oklahoma) in last year's bowl game. It was our Co-Offensive Coordinators' first game they called, and Cole Stoudt, who had been awful for most of the season, played great.

Overall, a play-off game against TCU or Baylor would lean more towards a shoot-out type.

If we could run the ball well on them with Gallman & Brooks and win "time of possession", this could help control opponent points more easily by keeping their offense off the field, and controlling the clock?
