Lets take a look back at May 4th never forget. Sammy Watkins is outed as drug smugglin' weed smokin' All American that can't seem to find his place on the field now.
The Mike Bellamy dismissal.
The football stabbing incident in lot 1.
The Dabo traffic violation.
The making fun of my gf which by the way still isn't returning my phone calls
The booing during a military ceremony at a school that was found as a military school.
That atmosphere that is created at Clemson and the reputation that it makes for itself all starts with the people, the players, the coaches, the fans, the message boards. Its you who make Clemson a great place to be in the fall, the excitement of your child being accepted at the university that you attended. The memories you create and relive. And now we find ourselves tarnished. The bad will always be remembered over the good. Last season was great winning the ACCCG but we got thumped by the coots and were on the losing end of an all time bowl record. Our attitude needs to change.
Let's change the way we eat, let's change the way we live and let's change the way we treat each other. You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do what we gotta do, to survive.

1)Watkins situation was handled better than any other program with a similar situation--i.e. UGA, sakerlina, etc.
2) Bellamy was dismissed for lacking the qualifications our "reputation" requires, which makes us look like a better program.
Who cares about your girlfriend, and who hasn't gotten a speeding ticket? Those two bullets have absolutely nothing to do with Clemson U, or Clemson Football--so stop it.
And people were booing about always being loyal to your president...not the military ceremony. Look at the reactions of the crowds every time Rodriguez's name is mentioned, people go nuts, get out of their seats and cheer for him. No other school has that kind of story right now.
When all of my classmates (I unfortunately go to GT) came up to TigerTown for the game, all of them couldn't believe how awesome it was and fully understood why I continued to be a very passionate Clemson Tiger despite not going to school there. Clemson is one of the greatest places in the country, in my opinion, and its reputation is very far from being hurt.
If anything, our fans have even made Clemson even a better place. We support our team, coach, and staff for going out there and playing ball, even when they struggle. Clemson is Clemson man...people who have never been to a game here will never understand why so many of us don the orange and white with such passion. A couple of speeding tickets and political opinions won't change that.
And finally, why are you worried about one girl? You ever been to Clemson? There's more good lookin women up there than you can shake a stick at. Don't chase em, replace em.

I second that about your friends from GT going to the game. My wife was the same way(UGA fan), until I took her to her first Clemson game. Now if you ask her she is all orange all the time and ALL IN!

1. Sammy Watkins is still a kid and made a poor decision. He learned and has moved on.
2. Mike Bellamy is still a kid and made a poor decision. Unfortunately he did not learn and had to go. We should all wish him the best.
3. Don't know the whole truth about Dabo's ticket, but that was just stupid either way.
4. As far as the the booing goes, no one was booing the military. They were booing or p.o.s President. There were VT fans sitting near us that were booing louder than we were. Tells you what people really think of him.
5. The stabbing incident was unfortunate, but you are going to have that on those big jobs.
6 To hell with your gf, guess you weren't hitting it right.
7. Finally, the atmosphere is great. My son came with us to the game and had a blast. He has had a soar throat from yelling all week. If anyone was not having fun then they should have just stayed home and given the ticket to someone who wanted to be there.
