This morning was awful, I need a Mulligan

My cat caught a squirrel and left it to suffer in the front yard. I could see all of this from my bedroom window, but it had been 4 hours and nature had not taken its course. It appeared to be vomiting some slimy substance all over its fur, no doubt it was suffering accute cardiac arrest. The poor little guy was just too high-strung.
I eventually whacked it over the head with a shovel and buried it deep where nobody would find it. I wish I had done this sooner, I mean hours of suffering could have been avoided had I shown quick, decisive action and acted immediately.
Hopefully, others learn from my mistake so we can end ALL unnecessary suffering to little critters everywhere. Please think of the childrens.
