everybody in the world knew we should have been running the ball except our coaches.
ET was averaging 13 yds a carry.... not sure I believe he was hurt.... looked fine to me. I think it was more about they realized they should have ran him more....and now its a " injury ".
Why not run Travis???? he was averaging 8 yds a carry.

I know this is where every sunshine pumper will downvote and not look at the facts. Yes, dabo is THE best and we all love him.... But tonight.... it was on him.

Syracuse was lining up to stop the run. Yes there were a few big runs but most of the time the run was stuffed. This is a team that when they get 2 and long (even with a healthy KB) has trouble. DW spoiled us with his poise and ability to make things happen and this year we do not have the big threat we had in Williams. Outside of Renfrow, we are missing a receiver that we can really count on making the play all the time. I thought Cain would shine this year but instead he has almost disappeared.

I agree Cain is not Williams, but we have been unable to get the ball to him on a good many times when he is wide open. Just saying its not all his fault.

kicking game is bad.... we knew that tho... thats something we can't fix IMO.... But NOT running the ball is something we can control....bottom line is we lost because we refused to do it.

Teams know our OL lacking in Run Blocking
lately giving Look Out Blocks on pass plays
when they give QB time not getting the ball
in the catch-able location with out the receiver
making a top 10 catch like HR did

Every single member of the team (except a very few) and coaching staff did their part to lose this game ..... kicking .. terrible ...... O Line ... terrible, especially on run blocking /short yardage ....... RBs ... Feaster looked like he stopped running before he would get hit rather than delivering the blow .. Etienne looked good (whiffed on one pass block that I saw) ...others fair ...... D Line ..... not a good performance over-all for who they are supposed to be .... inconsistent at best ..... D Backs ....abysmal (Muse "owed" us another TD since he gave up 2) .... several of the DBs reverted back to last year's type of play (too much "hands") ........ Receivers .... Renfrow outstanding, as usual .... Cain more dropped passes ......... others OK, I guess .......QB .......If Bryant ran like he did last night in practice, he should have never been in there ....... Cooper inconsistent, occasionally held the ball too long ..... below average at best with very little help from play calling and coaches.
I love this team and all of the coaches, but last night was one of those games where nothing went right.
