good friend of mine. On the night this happened he called me and I was there in just a few minutes. It is most likely the worst thing Don could have had happen to him in his lifetime. It was devastating to him. The victim was an alcoholic who just stepped out in front of Don. It was dark and raining and as far as I know, nothing he could have done. Don was on the way home from Clemson and had absolutely no alcohol in his system. This accident is the best reason I can give anyone to not drink and drive. If he would have had any alcohol in his system, he would have lost his job, but even worse, knowing him as I do, he would never have forgiven himself.

I cannot believe FGF would allow that thread to stay up for 30 seconds, much less for all of the posts that came after the OP.

With all due respect, are you guys really surprised by this?!? What do you expect from that fan base? Garbage stinks, so I wouldn't expect to smell roses when I drop the trash off at the dump. Those people are so desperate to find something to make them feel better about themselves that they have to dig up THAT??? Speaking of stink, goodness gracious their desperation smells like a dead skunk on the side of the road.
