It's not just about the National Championships, ACC Championships, bowl games, top recruiting classes, and 10+ win seasons.
Coach Swinney is great because he is a great man of God. He is more than just a Coach. He is an amazing dad, husband, brother, and son. He is not just a coach to young men, but he is a father figure and mentor. He is what every Coach should strive to be like.

Yeah, they posted several messages on social media thanking Dabo and the players. Not sure I completely understand his response saying that's why he continues to come out and play with these guys. Maybe means he's coming back.

I agree with you on his character. I’ve never met the man, but I believe he is genuinely a God fearing man, and all around good person. However, you can do and be all of those things no matter what walk of life you’re in. That’s a personal choice.
With that said, he gets paid a lot of money to win football games. He needs help winning football games. He has the resources to employ such help, I hope he does it soon.

You can be a man of God and a great coach. It appears Dabo refusing to play "the new game" by it's new rules is turning him into a not so great coach. When the rules change, you get left behind if you don't change with them.
I am going to take my orange glasses off and be blunt. We looked horrific against Tennessee. We looked like a D1AA flunkie they scheduled for homecoming. Our team has looked awful all year. We have been in noticeable decline for four years. We were crap this year. We might have been .500 in SEC this year. Team is in serious trouble.

We outscored the opposition in 2019 43.9 to 13.5 and went 14-1, ending up second in the nation. If that is not good enough for you, I suggest you stop watching college football, because you will be disappointed most of the time.

Yes…a lot has been covered up by superior elite talent. Now that talent has dropped off, these issues are becoming more obvious. Several here have been saying this since 2018…and they were and are correct.

I don't think it's a matter of playing "the new game". I think it's simply a matter of the quality of talent has slipped slightly. And when you want / expect the bras ring... it's a hard pill to swallow "to just get the conference championship."
That was a pipe dream in the not too distant past.

Still waiting to see you post one positive comment about Clemson football. I’ve yet to see one. You almost make me pull against our basketball team. Almost. It’s weird how critical you are of our football team when bball has been mediocre forever and you somehow find excuses. Dabo took over a mediocre football program and turned it into a powerhouse. That’s a fact. Brownell took over a mediocre basketball program and continued with mediocrity with the exception of one season. I swear you’re his dad or something. It makes no sense.
