Why couldn't DJ have entered the portal and stayed with the team through the orange bowl?
Grayson Mccall played in Coastal's bowl game after he had entered the portal and Sam Hartman entered the portal after WF's bowl game, right?

He could have waited but felt it was in his best interest to get started early. Dabo said they tried to work it out but couldn't.

Dissapointing to here that. After 2 years of loyalty from Dabo, Streeter and teammates, DJ wasn't willing to finish the job? That Oregon State spot would have certainly still been available.
Looks like loyalty is a one way street.
Sure hope Cade stays healthy. DJ's betrayal could really hurt in that situation

not sure why. by the end he couldn't complete basic passes. it needed to end for the benefit of both.
