To Richardson's comment on the goals.

He's right, nowhere does it say those are the goals. The "stated goals" are:
-win the opener
-win the division
-win the state
-win the conference (i think)
-win the closer


we could lose the next 2 games and STILL have the chance to accomplish every single goal of ours..........let that one sink in.

I guarantee you one thing........if we had the #1 offense in the country we would be undefeated and would've blown MOST of our opponents out of the water.

. . . Richardson's comment, I mean (not yours). To interpret the criticism as insisting that we have to have an all-world offense is **entirely** missing the point. To paraphrase you, how about just a non-sucky one!

These coaches are in CYA mode. They’re going to let Dabo take the blame and own these problems because no one will fire Dabo or truly hold Dabo accountable.
Finebomb was right, this team is soft. They’re soft because the coaches are soft.

I think that's right. "Soft" seems like a good description.

The comments by Richardson and Goodwin suggest that they aren't challenging the players enough and holding them accountable - and perhaps Dabo isn't holding the coaches accountable (enough). I get that they are learning on the job, but his comment about being out-coached speaks volumes. Those comments by Richardson and Goodwin sound like they're getting ready to hand out participation trophies.

It's also strange that we (at least I) haven't heard from Streeter. That's not a good sign at all.

If those attitudes don't change, Dabo might as well take down the sign that says "Best is the Standard". He's not happy (thankfully) and maybe he'll have to start over. I know he doesn't want to, but I also know when he sees the problem and admits it to himself, he'll do what's right for Clemson.
