We saw him / them live once many years later. Nice show much smaller outdoor venue though

Carlos Santana said He was told they would play their set around 20 hours later around when The Grateful Dead played. He said Jerry Garcia gave He and band members LSD and they were tripping their butts off and next thing you know they told them they were next up to play. Santana said they were tripping and that his guitar neck looked like a snake and that He just had to stop looking at it and just trust his fingers.

It's amazing how all of the high musicians at Woodstock pulled it off. I remember reading about Santana's experience a few years ago.
