Rewatching 2017 championship game and

The first play of 4th quarter was out 72nd offensive play. The BAMA D was gassed. I don't believe we have been playing quite as fast this year but hope to see us be able to accumulate plays and tire their D again.

Also great seeing so many current players in this game.

Leggett was big at key points. That's one thing I don't see is being able to duplicate this year.

Maybe. The 2017 team was pretty well loaded at WR.

TE is the biggest drop. We could spread them out because of our WR's and run Legget across the middle.

I know that we have recruited top TE'S, but for what ever the reason, we haven't been able to land them. I would think that a top TE or two would be running to Clemson bc we do use them a lot in the passing game if they can catch the ball!!!

Yeah, although they claim it was the humidity to blame.

I would imagine we are shooting for 80.

I tried to find an Alabama player participation chart to see how much their starters played in the game, but I can't find it. I think it would show that they don't have the depth of past teams. Miller has a strained hamstring and Patrick Surtain is a freshman cornerback.

They may strike early, but we will eventually wear them down.

Link it if you find it. In curious as well.

I know they are dinged up at LB... could be similar to 2017 where we play from behind by two scores going into the 4th but just run them down due to rotating so many offensive players.

We defintiely won't run 100 plays again.

Our offense is just different this year. In 2016 we didn't generate many big plays, but we were great at sustaining drives and converting 3rd downs. That's how you end up running 100 plays in a game.

This 2018 team hits a lot of big plays so drives will be shorter.
