on the road and saying exactly zero about our win over the current 16 (and 25).
At the same time lsu had a “good loss” to #16 and no mention of their 27 pt loss to current #10 at home.
Makes sense.

Why don’t you have this same negativity about Clemson basketball. You know the team you think is on the cusp yearly with an underperforming head coach and the team that constantly loses games they shouldn’t. Without Clemson football no other sports in Clemson would get half what they have now. You should hope Clemson makes playoffs and gets more cash flowing in because it sure as heck won’t be getting generated by the basketball program that can’t even make an NIT.

Losing to ND is one thing. We were beat down at ND, by what .. 3 TD’s? No game plan, no offense and out coached. We can still get in if USC loses, a better chance if TCU loses their championship game as well.

The sole purpose of these rankings is to pick the best four teams for the CFP at the end of the year. Does anyone really think that Bama or LSU is getting into the top four ? Really ? Stop fretting about them and worry about the teams that truly could get in before us.

@TigerCook I agree. There is one narrative that has been floated by the media about this team and I honestly believe that it is being held against us. And if they believe LSU, Clemson and Bama to be comparable then they may be letting that sway their decision.
If you watch anything on the media about what Clemson has and what is lacking you know exactly what I am referring to.
The ND loss came late in the season which historically does not help either. If it would have been close maybe, but any loss is a bad loss late in the season.

LSU beat the all perfect and all knowing Bama, so that’s all that matters.
All Clemson had to do was show up and beat ND. It was an ugly loss and they won’t give Clemson the pass others are given.

This is why am expanded playoff will make sense. Over a period of 15 games, laying an egg in one should be a given. It’s happens all the time in the NFL and they are professionals. It was cold windy and ****, no one wants to be in Indiana. Not even the people born there bc they all move to SC.

The only reason with lost to Notre Dame was the refs. Their o line was holding on every play.
I'm not worried. It was great that gamecocks beat #5. Now when we win 30 to 14 the committee will see it as a good win. Then the acc championship vs a ranked team puts us at #4.

We win it all over their beloved teams they have been promoting from $$$$ the SEC & Big 10. The Big10 teams haven’t played nearly as hard of schedule as we have. The SEC has fallen apart except for UGA and their best win is Tennessee.
If we win our last two games we will be in the playoffs. Our Tigers could win it all this season and leave them all scratching their heads!
I’d love to at least make it to the title game. If we play to our potential we can beat all of them on any given day if we don’t turn the ball over & DJ gets rid of the ball timely. If we had Trevor or Deshaun this season we would be in incredible shape because nobody has a team close to as good as our 2015, 2016, 2018 or 2019 teams.
Don’t get me wrong if we win out and miss the playoffs but win our bowl game I would consider it a great season. I would rather miss the playoffs and win a bowl game over losing in the 1st round.
I personally think it will take a miracle to keep us out of the playoffs if we win out. It’s hard to win. Hopefully GT beats UGA, TCU & the real,USC lose. Love to see Ohio State beat Michigan and then lose in Big10 championship too.
It will be so sweet to win(steal) the National Championship after the horrible sports media narrative when we have a close game compared to LSU or Alabama.

Us last week after a 40-10 win.. The Tigers looked as good as they have all year in the first half. Then as bad as possible in the second half. Clemson's been chasing consistency all season long and still has not to find it as it closes in on an ACC title matchup with dynamic North Carolina in two weeks.
How are we not ahead of Alabama & LSU with 2 losses?
