They did make a good movie about the Aggies

That’s really all they are known for.

They are known for giving Bear Bryant his only losing

season as a Head Coach, 1-9 in 1954. But, he quickly turned it around the next 3 years. That obviously is what got him the Alabama job, they figured if he could win there, he could win ANYWHERE!

He never had the guts to try to coach at South Carolina, though. Even the Bear knew his limitations.

What a ridiculous statement, a coach has to be a complete idiot to coach at South Carolina, a moron even. Bear Bryant was way too smart to ruin his reputation by coaching that dumpster fire program.

You guys really disappoint me... Been enjoying the banter all week, and you missed a golden opportunity on this thread...

Texas A&M has also been featured in two other movies...

"We've Never Been Licked" (1943)

... which is in direct contradiction to...

"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" (1982)

... but I digress...

Unfortunately for you guys, Bear Bryant coaching at A&M

was a lot like John Heisman coaching for us.

It was just like the old Hee Haw song: "You met another, and Pfttt!, You was gone."

Sorry, I was but a twinkle in the ol’ man’s eye in 1982 and didn’t even realize they had TV in 1943.
