We had them dead to rights, and Jackson throws back to back fastballs up to Bellinger who didn’t hit for his weight this season, should’ve been a pitch down and away and made him chase it. But As any Braves fan knows, there like a bad girlfriend, they always break your heart. Need to Win Frieds game bc when it comes back to ATL, they’re facing Sherzer vs Anderson and we can’t count on him having a dead arm again.

Did you see his average this season? It was worst then Dan Ugglas when he was a Brave.

Braves left 10 on base and went 4-11 with RISP. Albies left 7 by himself, d'Arnaud 4, Freeman 3. They had numerous opportunities to put the game away and failed to do so...

Look at the Dodgers RISP before this game, like 2 for 20 something in the first 2 games. Hell we walked more batters in game 2 then LA had hits.

It was up in the zone. Ballinger just put a good swing on it.
That said, when you're ahead in the count 1 - 2 against a team struggling at the plate and effectively dead in the water, you don't give them ANYTHING to hit.
