a ND win means NCSU would be tied with us going into next week, so our game would still be a huge, winner take all affair.
Man, that Syracuse loss will loom large if ND pulls out a win.

I think it would look better if NCST won. They would be ranked higher when we come to town, and that would also eliminate ND from the playoff.

Knowing that is impossible I lean toward hating ND more so I want them to lose more. I'm still bitter about their using every parish in the country as a recruiting center decades ago.
All that being said, a ND loss will put some Clemson Fans' minds to ease. It's not as if ND was going to take a playoff spot with a loss on their record but Clemson fans be tight about it.

If ND runs the table with their schedule they are a serious playoff threat and could potentially beat us out. And you know State is going to get up to play us at home next weekend whether they win or lose. They always do.
That said, i have a feeling State gets beat by 2-3 scores.

We want NCSU to win. ND is not a conference game in football, NCSU would be higher ranked in our matchup, an NCSU win would eliminate ND from playoff contention and it would tarnish UGA's win at ND.

If ND wins, they'll hold a 1 game lead in the ACC. However, right now NC State already holds a 1 game lead. We need NC State to win, and then we knock off ND in the ACC CG.
