Bs. The only tourney team of BB was with what OP left him. Even beside that fact is BB hasnt recruited jack since hes been here. We have one good player and 11 roles players at best. Supposedly he has 1 more good player coming in next yt but I will as told this yr blossomgame was our savior.
As is always said of brad. Good coach, bad recruiter. No one wants to come to a place like clemson to play defense and a slow down offense.

I don't think Brad necessarily wants a "slow down offense"..

he just tailors the offense to suit the personnel we have at any given time.
Of course, I could be wrong. But not likely.

I disagree...BB believes that defense wins games NOT...

...offense. I know I am exaggerating with this statement, but I don't think I'm that far off.
I believe BB thinks a "decent", methodical offensive scheme with average offensive skills, combined with an athletic, stifling defense is a winning combination.
As far as a recruiter, when you present this philosophy to a 3 or 4 star high school player, he probably doesn't even give BB and staff an interview. BB ends up with marginal players for ACC caliber play. This Clemson BB program will languish into obscurity for the next 4 years until it becomes such an embarrassment that he has to go.
I submit a vote of "no confidence" in BB.

Purnell is probably one of the worst coaches in the NCAA. He does not coach just runs and tries to wear the other team down.

Purnell had his faults but he took this team from the absolute pits and increased their win totals every yr for 5 yrs and made the tourney the last 3 yrs. Considering our history, that is pretty awesome. Brad has been decreasing in wins every yr. Not bc hes a bad coach but bc he cant recruit. To compete in the acc he'll need 2 to 100 recruits a yr. Not 1 evey 4 yrs

Purnell. And his second year was a rocky start due to it being Clemson. His recruiting is turning around with Rooks, Ajukwa, and Grantham. He just needs time, and I believe the end of next season we can finally make a correct decision on how he has done.

Donte Grantham is the #66 recruit in the nation for 2014. Beating out Michigan for a guy is pretty impressive.
Also, Gabe Devoe leads North Carolina high school basketball in scoring so he's no slouch either.
We're in the mix for a lot of good players for 2015 that want to play with Grantham and have a good relationship with this staff so we're starting to recruit at a higher level. It takes time to develop those relationships when you recruit the right way.
Blossomgame is a freshman coming off a major injury. He will be a really good player for us. Give him a little time.

And defend Brownell. Purnell took Clemson from the Ashes and made us relevent. Brownell is leading us back to the gutter, and people are just blind.

He realized that, he also realized he messed up recruiting by targeting guys that didnt fit his system and was frustrated with the support here at Clemson. Listen, the problem is not Brad, it wasnt OP, its Clemson. Until we take BB seriously all we can hope for is a few years at making the tourney here and there. Brad isnt as bad as some are trying to make him...he was behind the 8 ball his first two recruiting cycles thanks to the timing OP had, and his two best and most experienced players were big time misses from a evaluation standpoint by the previous staff. If people want to fire him after year five, then so be it...but he needs at least that long to make it his system and show the administration what he is truly capable of.

Not BS at all you have been given the facts in the past so there is no point in saying them again to yet another loser no where to be found after wins.

Also our recruiting is at the same level as it was under OP mostly 3 stars with an occassional 4 star difference is OP didn't have 2 empty classes to deal with.
Clemson is a place that has to win with experienced developed teams hell look at OPs beat teams what did they have? Strong upperclassmen with senior leadership.
