perimeter of the field with their own signage for this televised spring game. Pretty much shows their level of commitment to football since they joined the ACC. Looks like no one in the stadium also. Sad.

The entire league feels down. Miami is a good example of that.

I had sincere high hopes the ACC Network (& its revenue for the league) was going to help give programs a nice surge in every aspect. FWIW, the network generated more extra revenue since year one than I think any of us were prepared for, but it hasn't translated into competitive results really at all, notably compared to how it helped surge the SEC from their respective network.

You're right, it's sad to see Miami like this. It's just sad. I don't want them to be elite, and I know we don't play them again this year anyway, but still.

I want the ACC to improve. All of it. Is that wrong of me? I feel like our players deserve better competition & opportunities to meet their goals and control their own destiny to the CFP & more.

Of the expansion teams I am not sure who is the biggest disappointment in improving ACC football
Miami or VT.

VT was legitimately competitive for a while, but Miami I think had the most hype; we were so fortunate to play them last year, but while they were ranked in the top ten I think nobody really considered them as top-ten elite & it showed later by nature (particularly against Clemson).

Still, I wish they were better even if we don't play them nearly often enough.
