You can say that again. There’s a handful on here that’s never happy no matter what (Brown-L criticisms are warranted).
Coach Swinney goes out hires what many consider the best O-Coordinator in college football.
We have 5 more commitments than what we had exactly one year ago on this date. We have our top Kicker, TE, RB committed. Our top DT is committing within a couple weeks….and it’s only April 11th! Some of the recruiting naysayers were the same ones on here raising hell on football weekends after a win.

When we embarrassed Alabama and Ohio State they had better "on paper" players Freshman through 5th year senior on their rosters! I believe in 2018 we may have been #8 in composite talent per the recruiting service.
In 2016, we were #11.
In 2015( I still say had Mike Williams been available we win that game too) the composite was #13. Yet, #1 composite needed a great coaching move surprise onside kick.
Dabo doesn't even go after some of these kids who likely "want Clemson to offer them"!
As most of you have said, "people need to chill"! We will be alright.
The offense got stagnant and that's ll that has happened. If the GR plug in works to juice up the offense; we will be just fine.

2022: #1 QB #14 Overall

I agree on WR recruiting, and each of the last 2 years have been a little donw, but we'v hardly done poorly since 2018.
Defense continues to be top shelf and I fully expect for offensive recruiting to pick up once the fun returns to our offense.

Define coach because brownie has had 13 plus years to prove he’s a coach and FAILED miserably!!! COACH SWINNEY has brought Clemson 2 additional Natty’s so far . I bet that chaps you so bad you need baby powder!!!

Putting all your stock in your success solely on star-ranking is not wise.
If that's the case; just give the team with the best composite recruiting score anually.
Check out what Dabo and staff have done with 3-star talent. Dudes making NFL money; who many of those same "recruiting gurus you speak of argonaut1992 were likely complaining about at signing"!
K'von Wallace - NFL
Tanner Muse - NFL
Isiah Simmons - NFL
Nolan Turner - NFL
Grady Jarrett - NFL
Adam Humphries - Long NFL career
Hunter Renfrow - 2-star - one of the best in the league at his position.
Vic Beasley - 3 star TE
Baylon Spector - Buffalo Bills LB and former 3-star.
I am missing some 3-star or below players and that's still an impressive list. Per Rivals Travis Etienne was a 3-star and I recall the complaining was loud when we signed him. SMH at how wrong people were.

Very True!
Gallman had a slightly above average run in the NFL. I love the way he runs man(hard).
Add Cordrea Tankersley to the # above as well. I am missing some; I know I just can't recall at the moment.
We don't win National Titles with all 3-star talent. Not what we are saying, right - instead it's rather - Clemson has found a way to compete at a high level by developing players they feel were undervalued in terms of star rating. And, the proof is in the pudding.
You have to have the 4 and 5 star players too! But, it's not the end of the world if we do not get every single solitary one of them people: "based off track record before mentioned"! Right bowlhunter?

CORRECT!! If you look at the top recruiting classes year in and year out at Bama, UGA and OSU, which seem to be the models everyone ascribes to, the NFL is full of their former players who were rated 3-star. Recruiting is all about picking the right dudes for your situation that can thrive in your environment, not about stars behind his name.

Wait a minute…….does this mean I am not amazing??
I…..I…..I think I’m hyperventilating….is this what “not amazing” feels like?? I’ve never been “not amazing” before. I’ll check Amazon, maybe they have next day delivery on a pallet of “fast acting extra strength amazingnessnous”. This is terrible, now I can’t sleep. Can someone send me some instructions on how to sleep when I’m “not amazing”.
I predict that none of the football recruits at Clemson this year will be girls. Further…..I predict that none of the starters on the Offensive Line or the Defensive Line will be girls either.
Look…..I’m amazing again!!!! This Cruitin’ stuff is easy…..when you’re amazing.

Yes. We’ve downgraded in talent, esp at receiver, the last couple of years. We’ve had to fire a poor decision by Dabo, that we all called our being that poor hire. However we should just all sit in the stand with Pom poms and smiles. Thanks for reminding me of my place.
