remainder of the season, is now we literally have nobody behind Putnam who can start at RG. No one. Pennington was actually very, very close to being a major contributor. We should NEVER be recruiting less than 3 O-Line per year. Just so many questions about roster management.....

FSU guard Dontae Lewis just entered the portal. He was a 4* all-American out of high school. We should at least try to sign him, we have available scholarships. He had offers from Alabama, Georgia, Auburn, TN and Miami from what I can gather.

A guy like Linthicum might have start seeing some PT? What are the options? Obviously somebody will be there. What do you think we do?

Maybe plug in Tristan Leigh. He is going to be a tackle but they all cross train. He played at a HS that ran primarily and he is nasty as a run blocker. Guess it would be dependent upon how he has progressed in PP. Just my .02. I’m sure CDS and staff are just dying to pick my brain lol.

Dontae Lucas was more of a hindrance than anything at FSU. He was benched in the game against JSU last weekend because of his poor play and penalties. He's also been knocked for his poor work ethic. He quit FSU because he was falling on the depth chart. We definitely need depth on the O line but he's not the answer.

Yep! Rivals had him as a 3 star, 6'5" @ 310, and the film that they have on him, he looked like he was pretty quick for his size and weigh... Hope that he recovers as quick as most of the guys we've had with the same injury, and got back quicker than most thought they would have!!!!

yes- it's a blow for what they planned and what they thought would occur but almost all the guys are crosstrained along the line. Dabo even said this in his press conference when asked the question. Just because a guy is listed 1 or 2 or 3 somewhere else on the depth chart, doesn't mean he doesn't know or hasn't played RG
