In all honesty I think it is more of a slap in the face than anything. You have a league who preaches equality for all, justice for all and we will are the front runner in seeing equality through. Well guys, it is 2021 and you have managed to only hire men at this position! Sexist much? Way to be on top of things NFL!

The real winners will be the "non-profits" like BLM that get their piece of the $250M from the NFL's plan to eliminate systemic racism.
Maybe they will surprise me and donate all $250M to republicans in an attempt to stop the democrats from keeping the black community poor and dependent on government. Eliminating the democrat's hold on the blacks would be the true end to systemic racism.

I've used it for years as a lawyer but only with a specific legal definition. Now I'm hearing it in other contexts but I've never heard it explained.

Equity is the value of a company minus debt. Could be the value of a house or stocks too.
My guess is that my definition does not apply anymore.

equity (noun) (from Oxford's Dictionary)
1. the quality of being fair and impartial.
"equity of treatment"
Similar:
fairness fair-mindedness justness justice fair play impartiality even-handedness honesty
Opposite:
inequity imbalance
2. the value of the shares issued by a company.
"he owns 62% of the group's equity"
I am referring to the first definition.

I was disappointed. Surely there is a trans person of color with a prosthesis who could handle this job. Another blond white person advanced over the oppressed masses. It's unconscionable. Goodell sitting with Russell Wilson and Ciara in his box does nothing to remove this stain.
