Deer T-netters,

For those of you with Facebook, there is a contest, of sorts, by Greystone Opthamology in Hickory, NC. They are offering free LASIK surgery to an individual with the most "likes". The people are nominated by someone else who view them as their hero. My wife has nominated me. I don't have a Facebook page and was joking with her that if I want to win I should post it here. She said go ahead that's the point.

I'm not here just to get votes for myself because if you take the time to read the stories you might find someone you feel is more deserving or even nominate someone yourself. Either way it's a good cause for whoever the lucky winner is.

Just know that here in Hickory there are a high number of dirty-stinking, good-for-nothing, lying, cheating Tarhole fans and a vote for any of them is just as good as a vote for Swofford himself, so go ahead and add another year of probation if you want to. Just kidding, had to do something to keep most of T-net interested.

Seriously though, this is for a good cause for someone whether it be me or not. I hope you guys will check it out. Here is the link:

As a fellow Hickory Tiger I'm happy to help. Greystone is a top notch facility as well. I've called on them for 6 years, providing the majority of their medical/surgical supplies and cannot say enough good things about the staff and physicians at this center. Best of luck!
