“If you’ve noticed, the date of Easter changes every year and this is because it is governed by the phases of the moon and not a specific date on which Christ was said to have risen from the dead. It falls on the Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox making it a celebration of the seasons, a concept rooted in paganism.”

ago.

Acts 12:

4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

Acts was recorded during the reign of Rome. That was long before any tribe was call Germanic.

I agree, what most folks consider Easter to be about is far from the original Passover when the flesh of innocent lambs were consumed and their blood 'struck,' on the outer front door frames of the Hebrews' homes so the angel of death would pass them by rather than killing their firstborn and even further from the death of God's Holy Lamb whose blood would cleanse even the sins of the entirety of mankind.

Shout Out to my hottie Inanna!

Sister, your bridegroom will go to bed with you.
Dumuzi, the shepherd! He will go to bed with you.

Inanna spoke:
—No, brother!
The man of my heart works the hoe.
The farmer! He is the man of my heart!
He gathers the grain into great heaps.
He brings the grain regularly into my storehouses.

Coincidence? I think not...
