Did they cost us the game tonight? The brilliant perfectly executed onside kick by Bama and the terrible call and poor execution on the short kick by us.

yes

but improvements were made in some ways...punt team played well

return team still blows chunks and has all year

injuries, bama mistake free football and some lucky breaks

just wasn't meant to be I reckon...box score looks good :-/

Really the only bad special teams play was the kickoff return for a a touchdown

I'll say this much about it...we all know the special teams has been a glaring weakness all year long...and there is no excuse for it...at a school that recruits so much talent, you would think we could field incredible special teams units...therefore, that tells me that it is entirely a coaching issue. that's really all there is to say about it...i don't want to focus on it right now, though, the guys played their hearts out. something that MUST be corrected for next season
