The only NFL games I have watched this year were when

Deshawn was playing. Once he went out, I have purposely boycotted watching the NFL due to the keeling. However, I check the scores the next morning (in Tuesday’s paper if you subscribe to the Greenville News). I have noticed that this year’s scores have been unusually low. I am watching the Falcons and the score in the fourth quarter is 10-12. What is the explanation for all of these low scores this year?
P.S.
Watching the Falcons game only because Vic and Grady play for the Falcons.

None of us asked them to inject them into the game.

I am pretty sure they do not kneel during the game, that would be a loss of down.

If they started doing that, I'd probably stop watching.

only NFL games I watch anymore are the playoffs. The last time I watched the NFL during the course of a full season was in the early 90's.
Great skill, but too much "look at me" nowadays for my taste.
Give me the passion and crowd hysteria of college football.

their advertising revenue has increased since this incident, although that is part of a long term trend. Bottom line, it did not affect their revenue one bit.

The NFL has much bigger problems than a handful of people taking a knee during the national anthem. and this has been blown so incredibly out of proportion.
Sadly these people were taking a stand against police brutality, and some of you have been brain washed into thinking this is a bad thing.

Sorry but you boycotters are a bunch of self righteous, unamerican ######.
In a country of 350 million people not everyone has your same wonderful experience and to refuse to watch a sport because some of the players are practicing their rights as Americans is a slap in the face of everyone who fought and died for this country.

Here we go again, it’s “unamerican” for the boy cotters to voice their opinions over other “unamericans” voicing theirs.
The first amendment goes both ways you jack ###.

There’s a difference in peacefully protesting and calling for someone to be fired or boycotting the league because of said peaceful protests.

comment, I wish your young ##### were my age! I did not want to go in the Army. I got drafted ( I could have run to Canada as I am sure you would have) because I had a right to. I went to Vietnam. I did not want to. I got shot at many times. I saw buddies get killed.
Screw all of you.

Then you should appreciate the freedoms that our country stands for even more.
The flag represents more than just the military which their protest is not aimed at.

Wait, so you consciously decided to stop watching because for a few weeks there were some player protests? Why would you punish yourself like that?
Also, I'm not sure how effective your season-long protest was since people who were PRO Kaepernick were also boycotting the NFL for alleged racism since he wasn't on a team. So by not returning to watch the NFL after the protests stopped after the first few weeks, you've made yourself to look like some sort of LIBTARD!!!!!!

13 replies and nobody has answered the guys question, jesus!
I think the reason for the low scores is a combination of poor quarterback play across the league as well as older coaches trying to run their schemes rather than working with players skills.
On the other side, defenses are getting more and more athletic and smothering, offensive lineman can't block effectively without holding, and you get a lot of low scoring games as we have seen.
The rams are a good example of a young coach opening up the play calling to work with his offense, and they led the league in scoring, but also lost to the falcons defense last week so who knows.
