out in June, going back after Labor Day.
They get out in mid May here (Son is just done a week early because he's taking his AP exams this week and exempting other exams next week), go back in Early August, and get pretty long fall, winter, and spring breaks.

He may enjoy his next decade in the lap of luxury, living off the trickle down wealth of your vast hotel chain empire, threatening penguins and getting excited over Nudie Magazine Day. That is, until he discovers that he only passed basically every grade from 1-12 because you bribed the teachers and school admins. When he realizes that he actually isn't worthy of inheriting your hotel empire, maybe....JUST MAYBE, he'll concoct a plan to go back to school and actually earn his grades this time, thus proving his worth and merit to manage your business. And we all know that turning the company over to Eric would be foolish, because he drinks his own pee.
Anyway, what I'm saying is, it may not actually be his last day of HS.

the day we moved oldest into college, wife and I could not talk for a couple of hours without tearing up.
Both boys really never came back home to 'live' - they found work in college towns and found places to stay. When the oldest one left, the younger was pissed because we now focused entirely on him! LOL.
Good times ahead for you and your boy - I think I am closer to both of mine now that they are both 30 ish. Then come the grandkids and life is amazing.
