and I blame Jerry Jones.
As far as the trend to erect the most ginormous scoreboard possible, I'm not a fan in general because I don't want to watch tv or be distracted by flashy promos when I'm at a live event.
For Death Valley, the proximity to the field and the size and brightness is simply going to dominate everything. It will completely change the experience for both the players and the fans. Also, I'm slightly curious to see if the players are going to be battling the screen at various times when they are on the field trying to locate the football.
Then again, it could provide enough extra backlight to help them see more, but anyway, guess we'll find out this weekend.

You came to watch the game live, so watch the game live. You can put an 85¨ TV in your house, but it doesn't look right. Bigger is not always better.

When you have 4 games on one screen via the ESPN App, the games are only 37" x 21" each.
With that going on, an 85" tv doesn't look large at all.

Yeah, don’t you just hate those easy to see gimmicky instant replays so you can clearly see what the flip just happened.

It's like a big screen for the West end zone.  That is a good thing. But yeah, if your upper deck near the East end I could see it not be optimal for you.
