The good from last night(though nobody wants to hear it)

Sep 21, 2014, 8:33 AM

No more QB controversy discussions on T-net! Watson was cool and effective. He's a stud. But folks, he'll make some mistakes, he's a freshman.

The freshmen RB's will get the most snaps the rest of the way. Choice and Gallman both played a lot. Davidson also will get snaps but that torch has been passed as well.

Play by the WR's. Williams, Peake and Hopper all had really good games against the best secondary in college football.

Mackenzie Alexander is the real deal. I know, he fell on the TD catch, but the rest of the time he blanketed a first round draft pick

Believe me, I'm as upset as anyone. Crucial mistakes again cost us in a big game. But moving forward, this team will be different. Watson is not only an incredible talent, but the leader we need. He was calm as can be on the biggest of stages. Eventually, that sets in with the team. I loved Tajh, but he panicked to much in big games. Not once did Watson lose his composure last night. Incredible for a true freshman. If we avoid the letdown and win this Saturday, we run the table. 10-2 with another major bowl, and a ton of talent returning with experience and coming in(OL especially). I'm still disgusted we didn't win last night, but a new day today. So many new pieces emerged last night, on the road, against #1. That can't be all bad

Well said - felt like throwing up last night at the end of the game but there is a lot to be optimistic about.

I certainly agree with all that you have said. The Tigers could have gotten some better help from the sidelines. There are things that you just don't do in a game such as that. After the game I felt like I had just watched a baseball game where my team left the bases loaded wit Somewhere on this team there MUST be a guy who can gt one yard when you need it every time. Apparently not!no outs a number of times and NEVER got the key hit.
