Just won the Remington award. Dabo wanted him badly.

It is an interesting award named for a fine player who Fridge and William Perry wore out while we won the 81 National Championship in the Orange Bowl

True. Uga gets their share of oline. We do seem to be doing better. We'll see if development can go up too. Since the power rangers, we seem to be one or two position groups weak. Either short on talent or short on experience.

But we needed to get in on the recruiting earlier in the portal last year.

With all the negative comments that someone has made about the portal, I think it's going to be hard for someone to get a guy from the portal to commit to us bc they will be afraid of someone playing a HS recruit before giving them a chance!!!

Dabo went after him weeks after he expressed interest. Dabo didn't jump and the guy was ready to accept an offer by time Dabo said let's offer. It was a miss by Dabo maybe because another delayed offer or maybe the player was just chasing offers, I don't know? But that is how I recall.
