The Carolina Panthers have never been grateful for

Apr 29, 2021, 10:37 PM

their use of our stadium in 1995. It was a real pain on our part with all the jerk NFL drunks coming into town and then leaving without leaving as much as a dime at a gas station in Clemson. Now, after all that time and the abuse of our town in 1995 they insult us every year by passing on quality players.

Two of many reasons why I have never pulled for the Carolina Panthers.

I might criticize the Panthers for taking horn while surtain was still on the board. But horn is a clear first round man corner and the only Clemson player better than horn available would be ETN. Not only does NFL #### strategy value RBs less than a good man corner, Panthers already have one of the 3 best RBs in the league.

No reason to complain here.

I’m sure the Panthers are still kicking themselves for ending up with Jeremy Chinn at OLB instead of grabbing Simmons ahead of Derrick Brown last year.

Exactly; Simmons would have been the perfect replacement for

Luke Kuechly, a good pass coverage linebacker. Simmons
showed them what they missed out on by making the all
rookie team.

I definitely agree that Panthers have passed over Clemson players in the past. But I don’t really think that happened here.

Wonder if he will quit if they go through a losing streak.

Lutz. Hopefully tongue in cheek.***
