The baseball took the spirit away from Wake in the 9th

I look for this to be a sweep. It's hard to swing momentum in a double header after a loss like that.
What do y'all think?

I worry about Eubanks. He leaves way to many pitches up in the zone and Wake can capitalize. Luckily Sellers for Wake isn't very impressive. It's good that we should have Jolly at DH for both games tomorrow. We really need to sweep with unc coming up next weekend

Eubanks is hot or cold to me. I look for Monte to be aggressive in batting and pitching tomorrow. I look for him to keep the hurt of this on going. If we play error free baseball we are hard to beat for anyone in the country!

Yes. We have a lot of productive outs and good plate discipline. That needs to continue to be the case. The reason we won this game was b/c of plate discipline in the 9th. Pinder, Rohlman, Beer, and Williams all laid off balls in their at bats. I hope we just pound their pitching so our bullpen doesn't factor in to anything. Gilliam is done for the weekend most likely since we don't play sunday.

Do you think Monte will go all-in bull-pen an all in the 1st game to win the series or wait for their last day pitcher and save the bull pen for that?
I know hitting and score will factor in but if the first game is close.

Sorry humbleservant I fell asleep. But to answer your question I think you have to go all out bullpen to win the series. I don't believe in saving pitchers for future games. The reason is we may save lets say Brooks Crawford for game 3 and then may not even need him. We may score so much in game 3 that bullpen pitching is not even a factor. So I think you do ANYTHING you have to do to get the next win.

Spot on with the discipline at bats. Seems like we are until we get a several run lead and then we kinda get sloppy. Even though jolly was safe at third, I still think maybe we should have bunted him over.
Our pitching staff needs to get back some momentum. Be nice to see us keep wake under 3 in both games.

That most of our errors are actually pretty tough plays. I haven't really seen many true errors this year, like letting the ball go between your legs or so forth. I remember one play where Davidson had to range to his left in the hole, and throw basically from third. Then the throw bounced at first and cox couldn't dig it out, and they gave him an error. Mainly because the guy would have been out had it been on the money
