Earlier this year on the ESPN show the Fanatic, Jaworski was talking about read option offenses in the NFL.

He added that Eagles coach Chip Kelly will not be able to run his Oregon offense at the NFL level. “Categorically, it will not work,” Jaworski said.

Vick was pretty well beaten up last night though. So I think they only run it well while he lasts. and at this rate that may not be too long

One good half does not mean it will work long term.

It may end up working great, but no way does a good first half of one game mean anything other than just that...

the Eagles' offense. The 49ers simply use the pistol formation at times to keep the defense confused, which works well. Plus, they have a QB that is probably the best in the league at making it work.
