Did not allow us enough time to get a fall back player. Dabo totally committed to these guys and as usual quit recruiting their spots. Evidently we wrong on their character and that of their parents. They probably kept chasing big promises and followed the nil trail. Not much honor exist out there in college sports anymore. Folks are going to get turned off just as they have with professional sports. Parents tracking kids the wrong life lessons that will bite them back someday.

Dabo will handle it with class.
people have been posting collage football wil die for years. My seats certainly haven't got any better which tells me that isn't true.

they had the same opportunity at Clemson before and after. Instead of a 40 year relationship they opted for the glitz and glitter of a new date.

Too soon to tell.
They were most likely guaranteed NIL money that they might not have gotten at Clemson and it's hard to say that Alabama is a worse place to be for someone with NFL talent.

What about the Georgia DC leaving at the last moment? This guy did not leave because of BV which was not his position coach but because of the money trail and big promises. Kirby had to pull a scholarship to let him in.

They didn’t care about BV leaving. Not a one of them even made a trip to OU much less signed. They saw an opportunity to have an excuse to get out of their commitment and get more money without looking like a complete money chaser and of poor character. They were bought and even if coach BV stayed at least one if not two or all of them would have flipped on signing day anyway.

Oh please. In years past when we've flipped players to us late nobody cared about "their word" or how it impacted the team they screwed over. Suddenly we are going to pretend that when it gets done to us we've been mistreated? Grow up

i say colleges should just recruit several. whoever signs on signing day , so be it, the ones that keeping dragging their butts, tell them you're not interested, i personally don't think kids should be able to commit without signing paperwork because just like this situation, they can change their mind on signing day or right before and leave colleges short handed. its a game to these kids and colleges should use the same approach, offer a bunch and whoever gets their letter in, let the others know , oh well go find you a place now, this is why never depend on a kids word

To me it depends on what made them switch and we may never know for sure what their reasons were. If it was because they were never truly committed and shopping around the entire time then it shows a lack of character IMO.
If they were offered huge NIL contracts then I can't blame them all that much. I hate what the NIL is turning recruiting into, but it's not their fault if somebody offered them money. It's easy for us to say they should keep their word and play for the right reasons, but it's not us turning down potential 6 figure deals to play college football at places that are still considered to be top football programs as well. Turning down that kind of money would be difficult at any age but especially at 18.

worse. Not just any Defensive Coordinator either. The best one in the country. I know they preach commitment to a school not a coach but that doesn't magically mean everyone does that. Plus they were all from the same school (IMG) so they all fed off each other.

You can see both ways as I’m thinking that BV & TE were telling all the recruits that they were going to be here at Clemson for them too. It all just sucks now, but hopefully Dabo & Co. will get crazy on the Spring signee recruitments and the Portal.
