The real soft stuff is terrible. There's no worse feeling than tp crumbling up while you wipe. I'd rather use a corn cob

Usually the wife buys Charmin Ultra Soft. Personally I prefer the Charmin Basic. Not like wiping with the duvet, but not sand paper.

Except they changed the formula about a year ago. Not as soft as it was.
Best part is that it all comes off the roll. You get all the paper for use, and wife gets a clean paper roll to use for projects in her elementary school classroom.
2 birds, 1 roll.
