Jeff Scott is the answer. The timing isn't coincidence

This guy loves Clemson more than any coach on our staff. I have some evidence for those that may disagree. He needs to come home. Please lay down pride and welcome him back tiger nation!
I don't care if we go back to 8-5 I wanna see good receivers again .
Sammy, nuk, renfroe, Higgins, Williams , Ross, Powell, Scott, Bellamy, McCloud, Cain WRU left with Jeff. Sorry Tyler u gotta go Do I need go any further??
Marion Hobby's loss was very big as well. That can't be replaced. I'd see if Brenston Buckner or Kevin Kirkland were interested in a shot at DC

Lol Grisham…you think Scott would come back just to coach WRs? He’s going to want OC or nothing. Grish is fine…we need a boost in our recruiting skills and Jeff is that dude.

Man oh man! Folks tend to forget we are 8-1 and most likely gonna play in the ACC Championship game. We ae not 3-5. Shucks! Just wait there will be more teams who have worst records than us crying the blues. Go tigers.

You talked about regardless of record heads need to roll.
That's idiotic, and it's even more idiotic of you to double-down on that idiotic comment. Are you idiotic? You seem kinda idiotic.

I will never understand statements like this. Put the record aside, how can you watch this team all year and be happy? Besides maybe 2 games we have been in fights with teams that should have been put away at least by halftime.
Yes they will most likely be back in the ACCCG but after the performances of this team the last few games, whos to say they don't lose another one prior to that. Not too long ago we really only needed to circle 1 maybe 2 games a year as "potential" dogfights and even then they cruised through those games.
There's definitely something wrong with this team, it just blows my mind when people are "just ok" with a 10 win season.

Something is wrong. You are correct. When you listen to the players you can tell something is off. Obviously we have missed on a lot of players and the coaching is subpar. It does not help to not have a trusted QB. Trevor Etiene Amari and a few others covered up a team going backwards. They are gone and we have no one good enough to cover us.

100% agree!! Record not bad, but several weak performances this year make this feel like a 7-2 or 6-3 year, in my opinion… Get Jeff back in here ASAP to improve the offense immediately along with recruiting for the future. This is a MUST in my mind!!!!

Ladson, Ngata, Ajou, Spector and the likes. The ones who should have been leading this receiving corp now. The rest of the guys on the roster are freshmen and sophomores except EJ Williams.
Love Jeff, if he returns in some capacity I sure won't gripe. But his decision to look at the tall lanky WR exclusively almost and not the quick in space guys is a reason we are where we are now

I think we had one of those small but quick WRs coming in Nathaniel Joseph and then we let him get away.

I wouldn't mind if he was the 2nd highest paid staffer behind Dabo with whatever title you wanna give him b/c he's more valuable IMO in other areas, but OC needs BRAND NEW INNOVATIVE EYES

You are spot on Judge! Go outside the organization and find a creative young offensive coaching mind. Dabo's done it before and needs to do it again. But it won't happen until the off season...

Either he or Chad Morris would be an improvement.
Defense? Dunno who might be available and an improvement.
Maybe Matt Rhule if he wants to avoid HC stress for a while.

We had the most productive receiving corp ever in 2020

Jeff Scott was at USF them.
2021 .. the elephant in the room was obvious,QB.
The playcalling had to be adjusted, and it was the best it could be all things considered. There were 7 OL lineups and injuries in the WR group, and the QB did a poor job of delivering the ball to the guys that were left.
2022 .. the offense *was* better, primarily because DJ was playing better. But lets face it, he's kinda slipped back to his old ways. We'll see if he can shake the yips.
But again, the key point here is the 2020 offense actually got more productive in the passing game the year after Jeff left...
...then enter the DJ Uiagalelei era. Tony was handcuffed in what he could call last year, and the same with Streeter this year.
