I can always tell the age of a poster when they think Cuse is equivalent of Duke or Carolina in football. OF course, weve been down for a LONG TIME, but we're a top 22 football team all time with some of the best players in the history of football. Carry on millenial. Cant wait to come to DV this week. Best atmosphere in football

been relevant in football for most of my adult life (and I'm retired). Let's see - In the last 35 years, Cuse has only finished two football seasons ranked inside the top 10: #6 in 1992 and #4 in 1987. Apart from that, one would have to look back to your 1959 National Championship as the other most recent final ranking inside the top 10 - you know just 6 years after most of football started putting face masks on helmets.
I know, I know - Cuse has produced some great players - Jim Brown, Ernie Davis, and my all time favorite - Larry Csonka. All of those guys have added to the sport and are rightfully celebrated. But let's not kid ourselves - while Cuse ain't a continual bottom feeder like South Carolina, you guys ain't exactly set the world on fire with your football program for any sustained length of time either.
