No and how many skill players that either sit or aren't utilized are gonna stick around.

Doesn’t matter how fast. OL isn’t giving us time to throw.***

That’s because DJ is a statue. He needs to take 3-5 steps back.

And then let it fly. He stares down receivers and then holds the ball.

He lock's on his primary everytime and even when he pump fakes he is still staring down his intended receiver. Tony said we will really utilize the tight end this year - when does that start. No way Oscar Delp is coming to tigertown.

Speed and quickness are different things. Our receivers are big and they are fast, it just takes them longer to hit top speed. We are missing the quick guy in the slot that creates instant separation and in turn changes the coverages and dynamics of the passing game. This is not our only issue nor is it our biggest but we have 3 possession receivers playing in our offense and they don’t complement each other. Ross is a monster but he’s not a slot receiver. He’s a boundary receiver and he always has been. We need Spector back, and/or stellato or Taylor to fill the void. Even though we’ve been told there is no chance Taylor works at wideout this year.

“3 possession receivers”? I think you have the right basic point, but not the correct analysis. We have receivers that collectively struggle to create separation. A large catch radius is nice, but getting open is more important. Yes, we probably need a slot receiver who gets open most urgently, but we need all our WR positions to get open.
