I didn’t notice DJ taking the knee either….either way, that knee wasn’t DJ’s to take. Cade won this game and should have been in the victory formation

Shipley doesn't score on that long run if DJ was in. Klubnik created hesitation on the read option after he had just ripped them for 12 yds, so yea the kid had something to do with the win.

the cloud of funk on him today. No doubt in my, or obviously Dabo's mind that we lose the game if we leave him in with the bad vibes going on. Bringing Cade in was a Saban/Tua type move, and it worked. Cade didn't look like a world beater, and Syracuse helped us beat them. BUTT, no doubt Cade extended some plays with his nimble feet where DJ would have been down and out. Even on the unsuccessful two point conversion, he kept the play alive, and got off a pass that at least gave somebody a chance to catch it. Interception on that play meant diddley squat.

Yea that made me cringe. I bet we have no idea how tough it is to manage DJs psychological state. Love coach regardless. Saw he got really mad at Cade for the delay of game on the 2pt conversion. He would have clapped for DJ and made him a sandwich.
