Watching game tomorrow with Covid 19 will be very tough

Dec 18, 2020, 1:10 PM

Hard to keep awake more than 2 hours at a time and I’m extremely weak and mentally confused. Screaming at TV will probably not happen. First ACC championship game in Charlotte with Clemson in it I’ve missed. Just terrible timing all around as my Christmas is ruined too. But somehow I’ll overcome just like my Alma mater will after that BS first loss up in South Bend in November. Go Tigers!

Pedialyte was my best friend when I had the Wuhan flu

Get well soon!

I've been too incoherent to do any of those things during Clemson games before as well.

The goods news is that now they are all posted online so you can catch up on any details you missed or don't remember from the game.

Set your DVR to record it....then you can go back as you get chances to catch up and end up seeing it all.

Get rested up so you can cheer the Tigers on during the CFP.***

That is what the DVR (or equivalent is for)

Dec 18, 2020, 1:45 PM

I am a COVID-19 alumnus myself. Definitely had symptoms that were not at all fun, but sounds like it is kicking your ### a bit more than mine. I was in the thick of it when we played Pitt - and while I watched some - I mostly slept. Part of it was COVID ... part of it was the blowout. But the DVR is your friend as I caught up on it several days later.

Good thing the game is at 4pm ET - might give you a better chance of watching it all the way through. That, and the fact that it will probably be much more exciting than the Pitt game.

Take care and good luck.

Oh yeah.. and the Pedialyte suggestion another had is a good one.

My quarantine ends tomorrow but still watching from home.
Try lots of vitamin D and lay off as much dairy as you can.
Mine wasn’t that bad fortunately

Good luck!!!

Just sleep. Wake up for the last 10 minutes. Then rewatch the whole thing later.

I have been pouting a little too. I have not missed an ACCCG since before 2011. I even went to Orlando. Now, I get to watch the game all by myself since I am isolating so I can go home for Christmas.

But, good news is that the Tigers are still in this. Go Tigers!

Only extra thing I can add for you

Dec 18, 2020, 4:21 PM

is keep moving, try to get out and walk (obviously near no one). I had CoVid and was determined to do this along with taking Vit D, swabbing nose with peroxide, and gargling alcohol based mouthwash. Any little thing can help. You'll get through this, you're a true Tiger.

Prayers Up Pauly!!!
