Does the UVA game = scar 2018?

After we played scar in 2018, everyone was convinced that they had shown playoff teams, especially Bama, the way to destroy Clemson.
We were vulnerable in pass coverage and could be beaten if we had to face a team with "real" WRs.
Sure UVA, with less than 400 yards, was not quite as obvious, but they are still "champions of yards" at this point in the season against our defense.
My question is, did UVA find something that other teams can exploit moving forward in the playoff, or did they simply show Venables what needed to be shored up for the stretch run like last season?

I think we will see a defensive secondary that comes out and plays mad against Ohio State. I think Tanner will have a huge game as well.

You can punch harder if you're mad but it won't help you diagnose a route or turn your hips any faster. Tanner is who Tanner is. But Brent Venables will help him out.

The question is, "was Tanner not who Tanner is during the playoff last season?"
We went from giving up way too many yards and points to lowly scar (with Tanner getting a lot of blame) to holding Bama to 16 points and making them do most of their damage on the ground with the exception of one big pass early in the game.
Also anger won't help you diagnose anything faster, but the adrenaline associated with anger can result in improved muscle function for brief periods of time.

not pass coverage. I know its not the same position, but since we're talking about the secondary, why haven't Sheridan Jones and Andrew Booth been playing more? I saw that Booth only got two plays in a 62-17 game. Are they just not ready yet. Also Mario Goodrich.

A good many of those yards were racked when they caught Muse
looking in the backfield.
