I don't care how many home runs or how far Grice hits them, when we have a lefty on the mound and we need someone to make contact, Grice is not going to be in the game. I would have pinched hit a righty for both Grice and Brewer.

Lee has this caveman approach that trickles down to his players.

I have no idea except other teams seem to take advantage of scoring situations on a much more consistent basis than we do.

We strikeout on average 16 times a game. That’s not good baseball. Period. Home runs don’t win games… we don’t do the little things we’ll at all.

You do realize everybody strikes out a lot more than 15 years ago. Across the board in all levels of baseball. Strike outs are well in median of league. We just beat the preseason pick to win the acc. 2 series win against teams in to 25 of RPI and mid week against UGA who is also top 20 in RPI. What more could you ask? Have a chance to beat wofford this week who is high in RPI and a tournament team. Then chance to win at Louisville who was just swept by FSU.

We do not average 16 strikeouts a game. We do strikeout too much though.
